Marvelous Monday!

So today is a very busy day!! For the past month or so every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday my family watches my older sister Kim's children. They are 3 years old and 2 years old. They are a lot of fun! The three year old is a girl, and the two year old is a boy. But today in addition to watching two youngsters, me and my mother have an eye doctor appointment. So that leaves my wonderful Father and my two younger brothers to watch the little ones while we are away! I'm sure this will be very interesting! As of right now the little ones are being very quiet watching t.v. They are exhausted after playing outside. I'm getting ready to make lunch for them and then I'll have to leave for my appointment. Mondays are normally my laundry day, so I need to make time for that as well! Mondays are always a very busy day for me! I'm still waiting for the garden to dry up so that I can plant more vegetables! Rain has been awful this year! There are a lot of farmers who haven't even been able to plant their crops yet because of the rain! Everything is simply too wet. Well that's all for now! I'll be posting again very soon!
Aren't these flowers just beautiful! I completely forget what
they are called, they have a very strange name..but I do
think they are beautiful!!!

Kittens! And Lots of Pictures!

So my cat Gin (pronounced Jen) had four kittens about 3 weeks ago. Sadly one of them died but she still has three other ones! And today..after much patience and coaxing on my part, I managed to pick up each and every one of them! This may seem like a very easy thing to do..but their in my familys shed behind a giant chest freezer! We don't use the freezer any more, it still works but we didn't have room for it when we moved, so we bought a new one and this one is in the shed. They are adorable though!! My brothers and I named them..they are some pretty unique names! One of them is Pussy-Foot, (apparently on Looney Tunes one of my brothers favorite cartoons their is a cat named Pussy-Foot, so they named one kitten that.) ones name is Shaka, (my brother named it after some African war hero) and I named one of them Captain Carlton. (He was a pirate in a book I read)
This is Pussy-Foot, and as you can see our shed is packed FULL of stuff so it doesn't make it any easier to get to where the kittens are! All three of the kittens are absolutely adorable but they are starting to hiss when we come near them..so socialization class starts right away!!
Thats my lovely Mama Cat! Shes a great mother! She really is.
While I was waiting for the kittens to finally venture out from behind the freezer I went and took LOTS of pictures of our garden. We aren't anywhere near done planting yet, but we've had a lot of rain lately and so its too wet to really plant.
Close up of a tomato plant.
This one already has a tomato on it! I can't wait until it turns red and I get to eat it! lol
We're going to have a lot of green beans this year!
I'm pretty certain we have three different kinds!

We planted both white and red onions this year!
My mother wanted to try and raise broccoli this year so
we're going to try it! One plant died but this one looks
alright!
We grew peppers last year and they
did really well! So we planted
some this year as well!
We're going to have a lot of corn as well! So far this is what
some of it looks like! But we have I think three kinds of corn!

So thats all for now! But I'll be posting again really really soon!

Getting To Know Me

So..I figured I would introduce myself. I'm really bad at introducing myself and I often ramble so excuse any rambling on my part! My name is Jessemily, most people call me Jesse though. I am the oldest of my fathers children but the seventh born in my family. My mother was married once had six children and then divorced, remarried and then had me and my twin brothers! So were all one big happy family!
As far as my religious beliefs go I would say that I am an old-fashioned minded christian! I try to dress modestly all of the time. I wear skirts and dresses most of the time but I will wear pants. I also cover in accordance to 1 Corinthians 11:1-15. My beliefs are that Paul is talking about a separate head covering, hes not talking about a woman's hair. I cover mainly with wide headbands at the moment although I do love the look of veils. I'll certainly be covering this topic in much more depth as time goes by.
Some of my favorite things to do are bake, sew, quilt, crochet, read and garden. As of now we have two big vegetable gardens that were hoping to get completely planted soon. My mother taught me how to crochet, however she can't read crocheting patterns whereas I can. I'll read almost anything! I love to read, but my favorite thing to read other then the Bible is historical fiction. I love to bake and cook. As long as I have a recipe in front of me I can make almost anything, well except for cookies..I always burn cookies! I'm working on a baby quilt at the moment to put in my hope chest for future use. I'm very lucky as well because my mother knows how to sew so shes been teaching me very very slowly! She wants me to REALLY know how to sew. My lifelong dream is to be a seamstress, well I want to be a mother and wife first, but then I want to be a seamstress.
My ultimate goal for this blog is to help me to express myself. Right now I'm going through a really emotional time and I find that writing about it helps a lot. So some posts will be WAY off topic, but I do know that my blogging journey will be a lot of fun! Oh and by the way I don't have pictures up on my blog yet..but I will soon. I just have to get some camera problems fixed and then I'll be posting pictures!
